With a chemistry degree and a passion for manufacturing, I began my career as an HPLC and ICP-OES analyst.  Within a few years, I found my way into R&D formulation at a very large contract manufacturer, learning not only the art and science of formulating but also scaling and commercializing batches from 30 to 10,000 gallons.  Given an opportunity to partner directly with a retail brand, I managed an R&D staff of 7, reformulating and maintaining a portfolio of over 300 formulations. 

More recently, I co-founded a start-up contract manufacturing company in Minneapolis, growing from a staff of one to a staff of 60 and launching over 1000 SKUs in under 5 years.  I now have the opportunity at Merit to join a true industry interrupter who is resetting the standard in contract manufacturing.  The vision, staff, and facility are more than a step above the rest which, in part, is why I am excited to be a part of the Merit family.
